About the Role As a Maintenance Officer at MHS, your primary objectives are as follows: To proactively carry out repairs and routine maintenance of facilities and equipment.To respond to ad hoc maintenance requisition requests.To undertake scheduled programmed maintenance activities.Perform a range of general maintenance tasks of Health Service facilities and equipment in accordance with the preventative maintenance program.Carry out other duties as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.Maintain grounds and facilities of Moyne Health Services to provide a safe and hazard free environment.Collection of infectious waste bags from wards when required in line with Moyne Health Services' Infection Control policy.Carry out and document all works regarding the Preventative Maintenance Program.To collect and dispose of linen and ward waste bags.
About You Minimum Qualifications:Equivalent workplace experienceTrade qualification is desirable, but not essential Key Selection Criteria (Essential):Ability to operate light plant and machineryKnowledge of Occupational Health and Safety requirementsAbility to work in a team environment.Use time and resources efficiently and effectivelyAbility to be on-call in accordance with Moyne Health Service requirementsSound interpersonal skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Must hold a current Victorian driver's license.Basic computer skills, e.g.
