Maintenance Officer

Hostel G and Campus Perth are Hospitality venues owned and operated by GCPH Australia Pty Ltd. We are located in the heart of the city near Northbridge at 80 Stirling Street, Perth. 
Hostel G is a comfortable, accessible boutique hostel offering alternative accomodation for travelers.  Campus Perth is a Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) offering private and shared accommodation to students from across the globe. 
We are looking for a Maintenance Officer to support our Engineering Department in ensuring that the safety and comfort of our guests is maintained to a high standard. 
Within this role you will:
Assist with preventative and corrective maintenance programsDeliver quality services to a high standard within set timeframesWork effectively as part of a team Have good communication and interpersonal skillsHave knowledge and an understanding of Work Health and Safety principlesA positive "can do" attitudeDuties include:
General day to day maintenance repairsGeneral operational duties such as bin movements, and external property maintenanceEnsure all maintenance duties are completed in a safe manner by following appropriate Work Health and Safety policies and proceduresWork co-operatively with Front Office teams to ensure that all maintenance jobs are scheduled correctly When required, oversee and coordinate any contractors working on siteReport to the Maintenance Manager and take direction as requiredWe offer:
