The Maintenance Officer is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the maintenance department, including maintaining all resort rooms and amenities, maintaining inventories, caring for equipment, performing the resort preventative maintenance program, and completing all department-related paperwork. What You'll Bring
To be considered for this great opportunity you will be able to demonstrate the following: Previous experience in a similar role desirable (carpentry/maintenance/grounds/gardens) Understanding of basic Occupational Health & Safety principles and chemical handling Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills Interact with owners and guests in a polite and friendly manner Ability to work a flexible roster, including weekends, school, and public holiday periods

The successful applicant must: Be competent in multi-tasking and enjoy working in a dynamic and busy environment Always conduct yourself in a professional manner that reflects the company positively Have a 'can-do' attitude, eye for detail, and display enthusiasm at all times Previous experience within a hotel maintenance environment would be preferable Ability to work unsupervised and have an exceptional eye for detail are key requirements of this role You will be required to work a rotating roster including nights, weekends, and public holidays
