As the Maintenance Officer, you will be working with a team of tradespersons and apprentices and be responsible for providing maintenance support to the hospital by ensuring buildings, properties, major plant and equipment are adequately maintained to provide a safe environment for patients and staff. Demonstrated experience and knowledge of all principals and activities required to maintain property, assets, grounds and equipment is highly regarded. An essential part of this role is the ability to carry out physically demanding duties such as lifting, pushing and pulling as well as general cleaning duties such as sweeping and vacuuming. You will also be required to participate in a rotational roster for on-call hospital maintenance.
