Your Day on a Page Located in Ellenbrook, Parkland Villas is a contemporary retirement village and is perfectly located next to Ellenbrook Shopping Centre within close proximity to the new train station.
This relaxing village instils a sense of holiday, all year round.
We are seeking an energetic, committed and customer-oriented Maintenance Officer to become an integral part of our team on a permanent full-time basis. Working hours:
Monday to Friday, 8AM – 4PM.This role involves working across 3 villages:
Work at 2 villages in Ellenbrook:Parkland VillasThe PinesOne day a fortnight at Timberside Village in Woodvale.Responsibilities: Ensure maintenance and repairs of common property including grounds, facilities and gardens, as required.Perform basic handyperson tasks including cleaning, painting, lighting maintenance, TV installations, hanging paintings, clearing gutters, disposal of rubbish, checking and maintaining air conditioning, tiling, basic plumbing, pool maintenance, furniture removal, and general repairs.Ensure planned maintenance of village assets is executed in accordance with the maintenance plan and legislative requirements.Undertake reactive maintenance on village assets and resident assets as requested.Support residents with maintenance in their unit in line with Keyton procedure.Ensure that all maintenance activity is conducted to Keyton and Resident Committee standards.Escalate maintenance issues to Grounds Supervisor and/or Village Manager, as appropriate.Ensure all maintenance activity complies with relevant legislation and trade qualifications.Utilise Keyton preferred suppliers where relevant and ensure all works are conducted within budget and procedure.Who You Are To be successful in your application, you must have:
Experience in General Maintenance works as a maintenance person, tradesperson or handyperson.An understanding of machinery use and tools required for various repairs.Be organised and able to effectively manage and prioritise tasks.Proficient in using a mobile phone.
Maintenance requests will be received and sent via a mobile app.Have a customer-focused approach to all tasks, whilst having the ability to develop strong and positive relationships.The ability to take initiative and be pro-active.The ability to work individually and in a team.A current First Aid Certificate/ CPR (or be willing to obtain one).What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate with opportunities for continuing development.A supportive and friendly work environment.The chance to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.4x Wellbeing Days (one per quarter).
