Who are we looking for?We are looking for someone who is motivated and has a keen eye for providing cost-effective and timely maintenance services. You will find yourself working at our aged care site completing work order requests proficiently. You will have a professional and positive edge, know your way around documentation, and can perform basic maintenance in plumbing or carpentry.

What can you expect to be doing?Provide maintenance services at our aged care site in a professional, friendly, and engaging mannerPerform and meet gardening, ground, and other maintenance order requestsParticipate in and contribute to quality improvement programs including documentation and stakeholder contactsCapture maintenance tasks involving reasonable timeframes, outcomes, and budgetsEnsure all equipment is operated and serviced in accordance with site procedures and/or manufacturer's instructionsAssist in identifying opportunities to improve services to residents from information provided through feedback forms, surveys, etc.What do you need to bring?Trade qualification in Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical (or equivalent) or a minimum of 5 years of significant building industry experience (or equivalent)Proven knowledge and experience in a facilities or maintenance roleThe ability to deliver and monitor tasks & routine schedulesOutstanding customer service skills, prioritizing empathy and understanding in interactions with residents and staffDisplay a genuine passion for working in aged care, showing dedication to enhancing the living environment for seniorsWorking from heights and white card desirableAdministrative and computer skills to maintain records and access documentation relevant to jobsUp to date with Covid and Flu vaccinationPossess a valid driver's licenseWho is AnglicareSA?As one of SA's largest social services providers, AnglicareSA makes a positive difference to the lives of more than 50,000 people each year.
