A position has become available at our Oakburn Rendering Plant for an experienced Maintenance Manager. Reporting to the Site Manager this role requires a trade qualified, self-motivated person who can demonstrate strong leadership and the ability to meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:Ensure the maintenance department operates efficiently, complies with the Company's safety policies and procedures as well as Statutory and Legal requirements;Manage resources such that maintenance requests are prioritised appropriately to meet the business needs and expectations;Drive and model a leadership style and behaviour that supports a safety culture at all times;Manage the departmental budget ensuring budgeted costs and expenditure are in line with forecasts;Drive cultural change through empowering, leading and role modelling business principles and values and drive improvement in leadership and capability through effective coaching and mentoring;Requirements:Strong system experience in MEX maintenance system;Dual (electrical and mechanical) background is preferred;Ability to supervise maintenance shifts after hours;Ability and understanding of repairing a large number of different plants;Ability to cover on call & callouts if staff are on leave;Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships.If you have the skills, experience and desire to be part of a highly motivated team, please apply by selecting the "Apply Now" button quoting position No. B0450-PG in the subject line.
