As the company continues to expand, you will have the opportunity to further your career and grow with the business.The RoleAs the Operations Manager, you will lead the drive for operational excellence, ensuring the successful execution of the strategic plan while optimizing day-to-day operations for peak performance.
The role will vary from each client's requirements; however, you will provide support to Industrial Engineering Managers, Maintenance Managers, or Plant Managers by providing quality and efficient Electrical services during planned maintenance, breakdowns, and the installation of new plant equipment.Further to this, the position will include:Lead and manage all aspects of electrical service operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and high-quality outcomes.Managing a team of 15 Electricians to educate, coach, and facilitate operational expectations and drive deliverables through a tailored leadership approach.Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure the successful delivery of electrical services to clients.Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and project success.Collaborate with senior management to implement and track strategic plans and goals.Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety standards within the electrical services industry.Your backgroundTo be successful in this role you will be:Trade qualified Electrician - Required.Possession of a valid "A Grade Electrical Licence" - Highly advantageous.Proven experience as an Operations Manager in the electrical services industry or a related field, within the Australian manufacturing sector.Strong understanding of electrical systems, services, and industry-specific standards.Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate teams and drive performance.Previous exposure to the Industrial Manufacturing Industry either within FMCG or Heavy Industry sectors.Hands-on experience with high-speed packing machines, conveyors, sensors, and related equipment.Sound knowledge of motor control, basic PLCs, and Variable Speed Drives (VSD).Strong people management skills and the ability to demonstrate a proactive approach and form good relationships with other technicians and stakeholders.What's on OfferYou will get the opportunity to work with a variety of clients within different sectors which will help grow your skill set.
