We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Manager to come onboard and join the team at our site in Launceston!
The key focus of this role will be to:
Manage the engineering and maintenance functions and teams across the Launceston siteResponsibly manage the site repairs and maintenance budgetPlay a key role in upholding safety and compliance standards on-siteWork collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external parties (such as OEM's, contractors and suppliers)Ensure that preventative and reactive maintenance is planned and executed effectivelyConduct root cause analysis on breakdowns and instate preventative measures accordingly, to avoid reoccurrencesEffectively use the systems on-site to ensure that records and planning is accurately outlined (such as: maintenance planned, contract management, storage of regulatory documents, overseeing the spare parts on-site and ordering spare parts)We can offer a varied career journey with experiential learning gained from cross-functional and lateral moves.

For this role we would ideally like you to have:
An engineering degree (either mechanical or electrical) and/ or multiple years of experience in engineering management, maintenance planning & asset management (is required)Experience in leading long-standing, trade qualified teamsPrior experience in overseeing preventative and reactive maintenance in a manufacturing environmentStrong communication skills and the ability to adapt to different circumstancesThe ability to effectively prioritizeExperience in using maintenance scheduling systems (is required), SAP experience would be highly regardedApplications are open to both internal and external candidates.
