Mining - Engineering & Maintenance (Mining, Resources & Energy) VM Drilling is an industry leading WA based, privately owned and operated drilling company located in Kalgoorlie. We are seeking an enthusiastic Maintenance Manager to join the team, based out of our head office in Kalgoorlie- Boulder. The role of the Maintenance Manager is to manage the repair and care of plant and drilling equipment, to ensure all associated tasks are carried out in a safe and cost-effective manner and identify priorities and assigning required resources to ensure maximum mechanical availability.Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:Identify priorities of all plant and drilling equipment maintenance and repairs.Ensure all parts for the Company's Drilling fleet are on site for upcoming shutdown and/or service maintenance.Ensure that all faults and mechanical defects to plant and equipment are entered into maintenance reportEnsure to monitor the maintenance activities regularly of all plant and drilling equipmentEnsure that all plant and drilling equipment parts required are available and adequate.Ensure effective supervision and maintenance works carried out in a safe and cost-effective manner.Establish, maintain and improve maintenance planning and schedulingManage work priority, develop job plans, define parts, materials and skills involved to then engage the proper resources to develop a safe, effective and efficient work plantEnsure adequate supply of required maintenance spare parts/components available in stock at all timesAssign the required maintenance team to ensure that equipment availability is maintained at all times.Management of day to day troubleshooting decisions and actions within your area of responsibilityEnsure equipment in the field is promptly repaired and serviceable for field staff to operate in a safe mannerAbout You:Trade Certificate in a mechanical trade (HD)At least 5 years experience in a similar roleKnowledge of maintenance planning principles and procedures i.e. Gannt charting etcEfficient in Microsoft office suite Ideally this is a residential role in Kalgoorlie, but suitable candidates seeking relocation are encouraged to apply.To apply, please email a current resume with a copy of your Drivers License and Police Clearance to: ****** Your application will include the following questions: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
