Join our team as a Maintenance Manager, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring our hotel remains well-maintained for guests! In this role, you will oversee the upkeep of all hotel facilities, managing repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance programs. You will also lead a small team to troubleshoot and resolve issues, maintain key systems such as HVAC, and ensure compliance with safety standards.Additionally, your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:Maintain records of repair work and daily checks as required by local Council, Government, and manufacturer specifications.Liaise closely with front desk and housekeeping regarding out of order rooms to expedite a quick turnaround and return to inventory.Research, recommend and liaise with the General Manager regarding procedures to improve the overall efficiency of the department and to carry out project work/prepare reports as requested by the General Manager.Ensure the external areas of the hotel are neat, tidy, and maintained in line with company brand standards.Be actively involved in the hotel's WHS Committee.QualificationsThe successful candidate will have the following:Trade qualification in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.Minimum 2 years of relevant experience supervising a maintenance function within a large complex.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, and Opera.Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to make sound decisions and understand commercial implications.An ability to think strategically and plan on a mid to long-term scale.Confident and articulate communication, negotiation, relationship, and networking skills.Why work for Accor?We are far more than a worldwide leader.
