Job Description We are currently seeking an experienced, self-motivated and reliable Maintenance Manager to join our team at Oaks Grand Gladstone Hotel. This position will be responsible for overseeing all Maintenance & Facilities requirements for both properties.
Key Responsibilities Include: Implement and drive the preventative maintenance program. Perform the role in a hands-on manner by undertaking any repairs and maintenance as required. Supervision of (but not limited to) electrical, mechanical, pest control, cleaning, fire protection, security control systems, hydraulic services and approved contractor works. Ensure WHS best practice at all times. Quoting, scheduling and managing of Capex Requests. Assisting Hotel Manager with recruitment for the Maintenance department. Qualifications The successful applicant will have: Previous hands-on Maintenance/Facilities Management experience, preferably in a hotel environment; Proven ability to manage and develop team members; Experience implementing a preventative maintenance program; Experience organising, consulting and negotiating with Contractors; Sound MS Office skills (including Excel spreadsheets and word documents); Excellent interpersonal and communication skills combined with impeccable presentation; Availability to work Monday - Friday, with some on-call work on weekends; Building qualification will be highly regarded.
