Integral marine management role Supported by a strong marine team Access to a range of employee benefits About the role The Maintenance Manager role is a key position in the SeaLink NT leadership team, responsible for maintaining the vessels and company assets to the highest standard to ensure a safe and efficient operation.
The position leads, plans and prioritises to effectively:
Maintain vessel maintenance schedules, troubleshoot, diagnose and rectify engineering issues throughout the fleet.Ensure ferries and equipment comply with all current legislation and standardsManage costs in line with budgetProvide guidance and training to the onboard Marine Maintenance crewA key outcome of this role is to ensure we continue to offer faultless, reliable on-time running aboard the highest quality vessels, to our customers.

Minimum 2 years maintenance planning and budgeting experienceMinimum 2 years supervisory experienceComprehensive knowledge and experience with marine vessel machinery, especially marine diesel enginesKnowledge of CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management Systems)Sound knowledge and understanding of MARPOL and NT Marine Pollution ActAdvanced knowledge of diesel fitting and turningSound knowledge of hydraulic, electrical and air conditioning systemsMarine Engineer Driver 1 or aboveTrade Qualification in Mechanical or ElectricalMEX User CertificateRestricted Electrical licenseWorking within confined spaces ticketForklift ticketSenior First Aid/Advanced ResuscitationOpen Driver's License (essential)If this sounds like your dream job, we encourage you to apply!
