We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Leading Hand to join our Maintenance team at QCoal Northern Hub Coal Project - Sonoma Mine, located 10km south of Collinsville in the Bowen Basin. As our next Maintenance Leading Hand,?reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Leading your crew and ensuring everyone works safely and efficientlyPerforming servicing, repairs and maintenance in accordance with Thiess servicing, lubrication and maintenance systems documentationSourcing technical information including, technical bulletins, OEM and computer-based systems, be able to read and understand schematics – electrical and hydraulicEnsuring good housekeeping standards are maintained at all times Undertaking quality work Stepping-up and coverage for the Maintenance Supervisor in their absenceMaintaining radio communications for shift activitiesManaging parts requirements for workWarehouse control on night shift BENEFITS Permanent full-time position 7/7 Even time, lifestyle roster 12-hour day and night shift Full camp facilities provided BIBO from Townsville?Living out of camp allowance, if applicableThiess' commitment to training & developingSalary sacrifice options – Flights & novated leasingRange of corporate discounts including health insurance (Medibank), travel & retail products ABOUT YOU To be considered for this role you are required to have: Relevant trade qualifications Experience working as a leading hand in the maintenance field on an operational mine Post-trade operational mine site experience Experience in general service, maintenance, breakdowns, component change outs and proper diagnostics Computer system JDE Oil analysis and interpretation.
