About the site
Our two mine sites are located 160 km and 240 km south of the City of Darwin at Cosmo and Union Reef.
About the role
MAINTENANCE LEADING HAND
This role will form part of the Maintenance team. Your role will involve undertaking maintenance leadership for our Northern Territory locations. You will be responsible for leading field teams in both fixed and mobile maintenance along with operating earthmoving machinery when required.
You will be:
Leading Maintenance Activities: This includes allocating daily tasks, leading from the front during maintenance, overseeing team members and contractors, and ensuring work meets Australian Standards.
Planning and Scheduling Maintenance: This involves identifying surge labour needs, scoping material to assist with coordinating procurement, and participating with the weekly plan development, providing expertise and advice to Maintenance Planner.
Ensuring Equipment Uptime and Maintaining Documentation: Completing repairs, planned maintenance and improvement works, maintaining maintenance records, and collecting critical data for reporting.
Contributing to Maintenance Strategy and Improvement: This includes assisting with equipment condition assessments, contributing to developing procedures, optimisation of work practices, participating in training and development opportunities.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
Heavy Diesel, Mechanical Fitter or Electrical trade qualifications.
Extensive mining or processing industry experience.
Minimum of 1 year in a similar role.
Pronto experience would be an advantage.
This role is DIDO from Darwin on a 8:6 roster. Site accommodation and meals provided.
