We operate a multi-million-dollar fleet of specialised underground mining equipment across multiple continents and conditions.Building lasting relationships with our employees is part of our culture, because at Byrnecut we believe our people are our greatest asset.Be part of the Byrnecut leadership team as we strive for sustainable quality and integrity throughout our operations.We are currently seeking applications from experienced Maintenance Foreman's to fill vacancies across our portfolio of international sites.Reporting to the Project Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Lead and supervise all operations within the site-based Maintenance Department, ensuring seamless execution of all day-to-day activities.Promote and manage a safe, efficient working environment for all maintenance personnel.Ensure the highest standards are upheld across all areas of maintenance activities, along with ensuring compliance to the company maintenance policy.Drive performance to consistently meet equipment availability and operational targets.Oversee daily activities and workflow, ensuring timely and effective completion of tasks.Effectively manage department resources, while identifying opportunities for further improvements and cost control initiatives.Ensure inventory levels of machine spares and stock holdings are well managed and in line with site budget allocations.The successful applicant will possess the following skills and attributes:Previous Underground Maintenance Foreman experience essential.Proven expertise in underground maintenance, with hands-on experience working on a highly modernised underground fleet.Extensive experience in underground Maintenance supervision and management.The necessary trade qualifications.Ability to work as part of a high performing site management team.Sandvik, Normet and Caterpillar equipment experience.A strong commitment to safe work practices.Self-motivated and willing to liaise and interact with local cultures.Willingness to reside offshore for the rostered period.We offer:Excellent remuneration package, including retention bonuses and performance bonuses.Full time permanent positions.Great work-life balance with 5 weeks on, 4 weeks off roster.Flights covered from Australian POH to/from site.Great opportunities for international travel during rostered time off.OEM training courses.Great accommodation and on-site camp facilities.Great safety record and team working environment.A supportive management team.Apply by COB 03 February 2025The successful candidates will be required to meet our pre-employment criteria prior to an Offer of Employment being made.Only successful candidates will be contacted.www.byrnecut.com
