Maintenance Fitters

Immediate start available Casual role with view to full-time permanency 40 hours p/wk + OT Our client is seeking a fully qualified and skilled Tradesperson with Fitter/Machinist or Fabrication Engineering experience to join their Maintenance Department.
Location: Manildra, NSW.
Hours: 40 hours p/wk + availability to work occasional overtime of 12 hour shifts.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the successful applicant will be required to: Maintain machinery and equipment  Carry out maintenance repairs  Preventative and breakdown maintenance Special projects as directed Experience with flour milling machinery and/or high speed packaging equipment would be highly regarded.
The successful applicant must demonstrate: Ability to follow Work, Health and Safety policies and procedures Maintaining quality assurance and continuous improvement practices Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication skills Effective initiative skills, decision making, and time management are essential The successful applicant will be required to work across two facilities as directed, including a state-of-the-art flour mill and a busy bag making facility, both located in Manildra, NSW.
Your role will also include Shift relief, where you will be required to work a 12 hour shift to relieve fitters on leave.
