The Role
Due to internal growth, we currently have a full-time opportunity in our Maintenance team for a Fitter on weekend day shift! This role is a permanent full-time opportunity, working Friday – Sunday from 5:30am - 5:30pm.

Purpose of the Role Diagnose and resolve equipment breakdowns efficiently, minimizing downtime and maintaining productivity in a safe manner.Collaborate with other maintenance and production team members to communicate equipment status, particularly during shift changes.Maintain safety and compliance standards, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiency.Work with the Maintenance Manager and Supervisors to conduct root cause analysis on failures and ensure follow-up on identified actions.Maintain all registers, logs, and systems to track repairs, notifications, and work activities.Develop and maintain close and collaborative working relationships across the Maintenance, Production, Planning, and Engineering teams.About You Minimum Certificate 3 in Engineering - Mechanical Trade.A safety mindset with a strong commitment to ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others.Ability to work and communicate well in a team environment.Sound understanding of reactive, preventative, and predictive maintenance systems and techniques.Sound knowledge of high-speed packaging equipment, bearings, seals, shaft repair, conveying systems, etc.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Great organizational and time management skills.Able to work independently, with minimal supervision.Why join us:
