Job DescriptionYour opportunity to join our Maintenance Team! In this role you will be leading our Maintenance team in attending to repairs and breakdowns of production machinery. We are looking for an experienced maintenance fitter to support and lead the team.
*** This is an afternoon shift role. Hours are 1:00pm to 9:30pm *** Competitive hourly rate and shift allowance!Onsite ParkingOpportunity to upskill with training provided.ASX listed company through Australia and NZ.The health, safety and wellbeing of our people is our highest priority.Daily Tasks: Supervise and train team members, ensuring high-quality work and smooth operation.Schedule and assign tasks, assist with problem-solving, and provide feedback on performance.Anticipate issues, recommend solutions, and communicate effectively about any impacts.Maintain and enforce quality, health, and environmental standards; lead by example.Identify and report hazards or incidents, and play a key role in reducing downtime.Ensure compliance with relevant policies.To be successful in this role, you will need to: An Australian mechanical trade qualification and experience with industrial manufacturing equipment, preferably in the FMCG industry.Proficiency in fault finding on hydraulic, pneumatic, and complex mechanical systems, with a background in both breakdown and preventive maintenance.Strong interpersonal skills to develop relationships and collaborate with stakeholders.Proven attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and multitasking skills.Experience with Maximo CMMS and leading teams in Food Manufacturing or FMCG/Pharmaceutical industries.A track record of driving productivity and continuous improvement in safety, efficiency, and reliability.Self-motivation, adaptability in dynamic environments, and excellent communication skills.We're looking for people who are curious, caring, courageous, and committed to join us.
