This role will include:
Permanent shift based position (the role will commence in a Mon-Fri day work arrangement until site competencies achieved)Opportunity to work on a unique array of food processing fixed-plant & equipmentBase hourly rates from $36.90 to $40.59 - negotiable upon experience & certifications (+15% afternoon shift allowance / +30% night shift allowance) with weekend penalty rates + OT (where available)What You Will DoReporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Fitter will perform maintenance activities (planned / opportunity / breakdown) of fixed plant and equipment to align with the site's Maintenance & Production schedules.
Identify faults and perform breakdown repairs to minimise downtimeInspect, test and maintain machinery & equipmentPerform general plant and building maintenance workUndertake specific project work upon requestUtilise MEX CMMS to update work orders and advise on any maintenance trendsAbout YouPossess a 100% commitment to health and safety in the workplaceHold a Cert III Engineering - Mechanical (or equivalent)Ability to interpret mechanical drawingsExperience with food processing equipment is highly regardedWelding experience of MAW and TIG weldingProficient in the use of Microsoft Windows and CMMS softwareStrong problem-solving skills and excellent communication skillsWillingness to undergo a pre-employment medicalPlease click on the 'Apply' button to submit your application, ensuring a covering letter and resume are included.
