If you are ready to join the #LactalisExperience, Apply now! About the Role We are now seeking a pro-active Maintenance Fitter who is ready to make a positive impact to our Lidcombe site (NSW 2141). The position is full-time, permanent and with great opportunities for career progression.

Responsibilities include: This position is responsible for performing mechanical work to ensure all plant remains in good working order.Ensuring mechanical maintenance functions including breakdown, preventative and project works are completed efficiently whilst maintaining a safe and hygienic working environment.All work to be completed in line with food safety requirements.Partake in Preventative Maintenance program in order to achieve world class machine and line efficiency.Investigate failures and provide recommendation of improvements to reduce the risk of occurrence.Work unsupervised on shift and make decisions in order to promote efficiency.Complete all documentation to meet compliance and operational standards.Shift work available. About you: Demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude and awareness.Experience in a similar position.Trade qualifications are preferred.Welding Skills (TIG, MIG, Stick, Oxy).Industrial experience including fault finding and root cause analysis.Breakdown maintenance and diagnostic experience is desirable.
