The Role Perform routine and unscheduled maintenance on machinery, equipment, and production lines to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues to minimise downtime and production interruptions.
Develop and execute a preventive maintenance schedule to reduce equipment failures and extend their lifespan.
Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment, ensuring they are properly integrated into existing systems.
Ensure all maintenance work adheres to safety standards and protocols, promoting a safe work environment.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and parts inventory.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and suggest upgrades or modifications to enhance equipment efficiency.
Skills & Experience Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting or a related field.
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques for industrial machinery.
Understanding of safety procedures and protocols.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
