Maintenance Fitter

Details of the offer

We are currently seeking experienced Maintenance Fitters for a Food manufacturing site located in Erskine Park.
These positions offer excellent work-life balance, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work with a dynamic operations team.
Available Shifts:

Morning Shift: 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM | $47.95 per hour
Afternoon Shift: 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM | $47.95 + 15% shift loading

About the Role:
As a Maintenance Fitter, you will play a key role in maintaining plant equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Your focus will include preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
Service and repair mechanical equipment within the facility.
Diagnose faults and carry out necessary modifications.
Prioritize and respond to breakdowns effectively.
Report on any issues related to safety, health, and quality policies.
Participate in training as required to stay up to date with company standards.
What You'll Bring:

Mechanical trade certificate.
Strong technical and diagnostic skills.
Process-based risk assessment abilities.
Excellent communication and numeracy skills.
