Maintenance Fitter

About the business Rocbolt Resins Australia is seeking a versatile, trade qualified fitter to join our maintenance team, on a rotating roster. Located in Smeaton Grange just 5 minutes off Narellan Rd exit on the M5. 
About the role: Permanent 40 hour week + Over time Day shift role? Hourly rate based on skill set and experience? Monday - Thursday 10 hours 5am - 3pm (Friday Over time First 3 hour 1.3 then 2x after.) Regular Friday over time for production and maintenance jobs.  Occasional weekend work for Projects Small team - 6 peopleCompany has 2 shifts (20 hr per day) and 60 employeesLooking for long termThe duties of this role include: Attend to breakdowns Carry out preventative maintenance tasks Conduct regular daily/weekly inspections and tasks on equipment Preventative/reactive maintenance on various plant equipment Experience with fault identification and problem solving with pneumatics and hydraulics Clear and concise communication with the Maintenance manager, Supervisors and senior production Ability to work in a team or independently Highly motivated Eye for detail and pride in your work You will be required to have: A relevant trade qualification or extensive experience as a Maintenance Fitter Experience in a similar role Experience with pumps, filters, and conveyors Ability to work with a sense of urgency while still maintaining safe work practices Desirable, but not required: Electrical reconnect/disconnect Welding and fabrication experience Forklift, EWP, Confined Space, Working at heights training Experience with Milling machine/Lathe
