Job Tasks and ResponsibilitiesIn this position, you will report to the Maintenance Crew Supervisor and join a motivated team. The Maintenance Fitter will perform maintenance, repairs, and servicing on mobile equipment in compliance with OEM specifications, ensuring safety and efficiency while adhering to the procedures and policies of Cameby Downs Mine and Yancoal.
Promote and maintain compliance with the Cameby Downs Safety & Health Management System and associated legislative requirementsPromote and maintain compliance with the Cameby Downs Environmental Management System and Environmental approvalsPerform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, servicing, and repairs on plant and equipment, in accordance with specified drawings, manufacturer's instructions and good engineering practice.Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with plant and equipmentProvide accurate and timely reporting and information regarding defects, repairs and maintenanceDocument changes to any set points, operational and maintenance issues in the appropriate logsPerform regular plant and equipment inspectionsFoster respectful and productive working relationshipsSkills and ExperienceThe successful candidate will display the Yancoal 'Our Way' Behaviours in everyday practice and foster a 'One Team' culture.
