Maintenance Fitter

The RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our Can Making Plant in Rocklea, Queensland.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:On-going maintenance of machinery, equipment and services, to assist in meeting or exceeding site objectives (Production, Quality, Spoilage).Actively pursuing mechanical maintenance improvements to achieve production targets and improve plant uptime.Safety: Demonstrates an exemplary safety ethic - Leading by example and setting standards for the health, safety and wellbeing.Quality: Drive a high-quality culture and standard.What We're Looking ForMechanical Trade Certificate with Advanced Certificate preferred.Experience in Industry/Manufacturing, high speed, 24/7 production environments3 years mechanical maintenance experience in a high-volume manufacturing environmentProactive attitude and willingness to learn.Team playerExcellent communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills What We OfferYou will be paid in line with our Enterprise Agreement which is classification dependent.
The estimated annualised salary is $80,000 base + superannuation for an average 37.5 hour working week, with opportunity to work overtime.
Additional hours worked outside of the rosters will be paid at overtime rates in line with our Enterprise Agreement.
