Job Description Maintenance Fitter Ravensworth Open Cut Hunter Valley, NSW Ravensworth Operations comprises of Ravensworth Open Cut and the Coal Handling Preparation Plant that provides high quality coal for the export market. The operation has approval to mine over 14Mtpa, with a long life of mine. The Role An opportunity exists for experienced Maintenance Fitters, who are self-motivated and committed to developing a culture motivated by safety, quality and continuous improvement. You will work safely and effectively as part of a diverse team, to optimise equipment availability and reliability, ensuring fleet performance and other targets are achieved across the business.
This position is permanent full time, with an attractive remuneration package including performance-based bonuses. Maintenance Fitters at Ravensworth work a 7 Day/7 Night – Lifestyle Roster, Tuesday to Friday Day Shift only Roster or a 8 Day/3 Night (4x4x3) Roster.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be primarily responsible for:
Following maintenance and service plans within the Weekly Maintenance Plan Process as instructed by Maintenance Supervisor. Clearly understanding fleet targets for the Department and be actively involved in identifying and eliminating inefficiencies. Using your skills as a tradesperson effectively, so that budgeted fleet performance is achieved. About you To be successful in this role, you will have:
Relevant trade qualifications; Demonstrated experience in maintaining and servicing Excavators, Drills, mobile earthmoving equipment and fixed plant; Commitment to embracing new skills, opportunities and responsibility; Field experience with Excavators and Drills will be highly regarded.
