About the roleMechanical Maintenance Group has multiple full-time Maintenance Fitter roles throughout Melbourne. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of industrial machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and operational efficiency, including emergency breakdowns.
What you'll be doing Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment.Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, implementing appropriate solutions.Perform preventative maintenance tasks to minimise downtime and maximise productivity.Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and parts used.Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.What we're looking for Formal trade qualification as a Fitter and/or Mechanic, with 3+ years of relevant industry experience.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.Experience in maintaining a wide range of industrial equipment and machinery.Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.What we offerAt Mechanical Maintenance Group, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment.
