Swicker's Kingaroy Bacon Factory Pty Ltd is an export meat processing facility, based in the South Burnett Region and is ideally located just 2 - 3 hours' drive to Brisbane, Toowoomba, Sunshine Coast and Fraser Coast.
Swicker's has been in operation in Kingaroy for over 50 years and today employs approximately 800 employees.

Our business aims to reliably and efficiently process pigs and pork products to the highest levels of welfare, quality and customer satisfaction, with a strong focus on Safety, Quality and People.
Main duties will include, but are not limited to:
Ability to act with urgency when machinery fault or breakdown occursWork in a methodical manner to ensure production runs smoothly using good observation and problem-solving methodologiesAbility to identify and solve root causes to prevent further re-occurrencesComplete any preventative maintenance tasks given in a timely manner and to a high standard.Ensure clear handover of work performed between the maintenance team and production teams so that all safety and food quality standards are well managed.Class C drivers licenceMust be able to work flexible hours, be on call and able to work in a rotating rosterHold relevant trade qualifications and current licensesDemonstrated ability to work as part of a growing and interdependent team, working collaboratively with other departmentsKnowledge of WH&S practices and legislationWhat we're looking for Minimum 5 years relevant work experience;Class C (unrestricted) drivers licence;Must be able work shift work and 12-hour rosters.
In addition, there may also be occasions where after-hours work is required to repair breakdowns;This role is paid on wages (hourly rate) at an average of 48 hours per week.
