Your opportunity to join our team We're looking for an experienced  Maintenance fitter  to work at our Primary Processing Plant, located in Sorell.
This role will play an integral part in our Maintenance team, by providing high-quality maintenance and repairs to equipment throughout the plant, with a strong emphasis on preventative maintenance, to achieve acceptable production levels and a high standard of engineering support.
This role will be a Monday through Friday over a rotating roster.
The shifts we have available are: 04:00 to 12:30 06:00 to 14:30 07:00 to 15:30 08:00 to 16:30 Benefits Immediate start Onsite Parking Great employee benefits including product discounts, travel discounts + more!
Great job security with an ASX-listed and stable company The health, safety, and well-being of our people is our highest priority Fast-paced and team-focused environment Daily Tasks Attending to repairs, breakdowns, and maintenance of production machinery Proactive & preventative maintenance of plant equipment Working autonomously and within a team environment Ensuring timely repair of equipment and plant requirements are met Compliance with safety procedures in order that the safety of our workers is maintained to the highest degree Sustain and drive quality solutions in an HACCP environment Actively seek opportunities to improve operations performance whilst improving system reliability and reducing overall downtime You will bring to this role Australian Mechanical Trade qualification Industrial experience in installations, fault finding, repairs, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment Strong communication skills Ability to problem solve and chase issues to sustained solutions Strong knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic operated systems Experience in a high-volume manufacturing industry Experience with Maximo CMMS would be an advantage Skills working in a collaborative team working environment Have a proactive approach We're looking for people who are curious, caring, courageous and committed to join us.
