The role An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, flexible and motivated Maintenance Fitter at our site in Pooraka.
In this role you will be able to apply your technical expertise working in a team environment and autonomously on plant maintenance.

Responsibilities Providing a commitment to safety, quality and the environmentAccountable for carrying out mechanical repairs with a particular emphasis on planned and predictive/preventative maintenanceIdentification of plant critical sparesAdministrative tasks within the maintenance planning systemFocus on continuous improvement ideasWhat you will need to succeed Trade qualified (Mechanical Fitter)First Aid certificateVehicle license and High Risk license including Fork lift, EWPCompetent at basic oxy/acetylene gas, MIG/TIG welding repairs and fabricationExperience in hydraulics, pneumatics and weldingComputer literacy, requiring experience using maintenance planning system, SAP preferredA confident, self-motivated, energetic individualA team player with a high degree of trade flexibilityAbility to work, at times, autonomously and without direct supervisionOur business Adbri Masonry is Australia's leading concrete products manufacturer supplying quality concrete bricks, blocks, pavers, retaining walls, erosion control products and architectural masonry solutions.
