The Role The role offers the opportunity to lead plant maintenance in an ever changing, dynamic FMCG environment.
The successful applicant will also be exposed to a large variety of world-class equipment and a range of technological advancements as they are implemented throughout the business.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, Shift Supervisor and Planner, your duties will include but are not limited to:
Undertake routine Preventative Maintenance activities, to maintain reliability of plant and equipmentRespond to machine downtime events with haste, requiring fault-finding/diagnosis and repairsComplete daily shift handover reports in collaboration with your team of fitters to communicate with the businessSupervising, assisting, and mentoring other Maintenance team membersPlanning and installation of new plant and equipment projectsProvide immediate responses and trouble-shooting expertise to emergency work orders/ break downs as requiredContribute to the efficient and effective operation of the Maintenance team, including maintaining punctualityParticipate in further training required by HazeldenesAbout you Relevant trade qualifications as a Qualified Fitter & Turner, Certificate III Engineering / Mechanical tradeExperience supervising and mentoring tradesmen in a production environmentSound problem-solving techniques/ ability and mechanical aptitudeUtilization of a CMMS and Microsoft suite (advantageous, but not essential)Ability to work both autonomously, unsupervised, as well within a team environmentSound knowledge of manufacturing safety proceduresForklift License (advantageous, but not essential)EWP License (advantageous, but not essential)Current Driver's licenseBenefits
