Maintenance Fitter

Based in Albury, VK Logic provides Integrated Automation, Electrical and Engineering Services. We will offer the right candidate:
Excellent RemunerationRDO/FlexibilityService BonusesRelocation Assistance (negotiable)You will be required to work on a rotating shift roster, with overtime on offer. Your main focus will be to carry out repairs and maintenance of equipment. This role will be based in Howlong at the facility of a key customer.
In addition, you will also be required to take a leading role in major overhauls, equipment modifications, and assist with projects requiring the manufacturing of machined components. We are seeking a self-motivated person, wishing to upskill and share their experience and knowledge.
To be successful in this position you will have the following skills and attributes: Relevant Trade QualificationsExperienced in machining, minor fabrications and welding.Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills are required.Hydraulics and pneumatics experience required.Drawing interpretationAbility to work well both within a team and autonomously.White Card.Advantageous but not essential: TIG & MIG welding.High-Risk Work Licences (WAH, EWP, and Confined Space preferred).Experience in food processing facilities.Essential Criteria: A current Australian Driver's LicenceA current Forklift LicenceA strong commitment to WHSCompliance with Covid health requirements, including vaccination and testing as deemed necessary.On offer is the opportunity to advance your career in a dynamic company that is locally owned and operated, with an excellent remuneration package and a great team environment that rewards you for your efforts.
