The site maintains world-class quality standards and ensures food safety but also ensures that the plant is a clean and safe place to work.Fresh meat is delivered to the site daily and processed by frying, cooking, freezing, and packing before being dispatched to a number of key clients including Ingham products in the retail space.BenefitsImmediate start Onsite ParkingGreat employee benefits including product discounts, travel discounts + more!Great job security with an ASX listed and stable companyThe health, safety and wellbeing of our people is our highest priorityFast paced and team focused environmentDaily Tasks:Attending to repairs and breakdowns of production machinery in a timely mannerReduce reactive maintenance and proactively improve unplanned downtimeAssisting in developing and introducing maintenance programs to support all internal stakeholdersEnsure the execution of safety standards and quality assurance practices in all repairs and maintenance activitiesIdentifying and escalating Animal Welfare, Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards, and risksTake personal responsibility to ensure livestock is treated humanely by self and othersYou will bring to this role:Australian Mechanical Trades qualificationExperience in installations, repairs, and maintenance of industrial manufacturing equipment, preferably primary food processing industryExperience in fault finding on hydraulic, pneumatic, and complex mechanical systemsExperience in the breakdown as well as preventive maintenanceSound interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships, communicate and collaborate effectively with key stakeholdersProven skills in the areas of attention to detail, information processing, and problem-solving with the ability to multitaskAbility to identify and introduce improvements in maintenance practices and plant performanceExperience with Maximo as a CMMS would be an advantageWe're looking for people who are curious, caring, courageous and committed to join us.
