Job Summary We are looking for 3 Maintenance Fitters (Day Shift) who will ensure the continual safe running of all of the site's equipment. This will be achieved by ensuring high levels of responsiveness and using information to prioritize maintenance and improvement activities.
Role Responsibilities: Mechanical trade qualified with at least certificate III.Responsible for safe and optimal maintenance of the site's mix plant, packaging lines, and palletizing area.Maintenance of assets in our North Rocks production plant, including preventative/corrective maintenance and resolving breakdowns.Troubleshooting and problem-solving with minimal disruption to production.Identifying and implementing creative improvement solutions to eliminate breakdowns.Participate in projects.Support Autonomous Maintenance teams.Does this sound like You? Required Willingness to work in rotating 12-hour day shifts – 3 days, 4 days off!Certificate III in mechanical.Strong understanding and hands-on experience of maintaining process equipment including pumps, control valves, storage tanks, homogenizer, and pasteurizer.Strong understanding and hands-on experience of maintaining palletizing equipment.Hands-on experience to work on lathe machine, grinders, milling machine. Welding skills are desirable.Strong commitment to safety.Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).Desired Strong understanding and hands-on experience of maintaining packaging equipment including box formers, carton closers, shrink wrappers, etc.Strong understanding and hands-on experience of maintaining pneumatic components including cylinders and solenoid valves.Knowledge of SAP PM desirable.Working at heights certification desirable.What awaits you at Unilever?
