About the Role: We are looking for an Estimator with machining or CNC experience to join our client's dynamic team at their Mackay workshop.
As an integral part of the team, you will play a key role in driving the precision of cost estimates and delivering world-class solutions to clients in the mining sector.

Your Key Responsibilities: Create accurate estimates and quotes to support business performance against budget.
Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure estimates are clear, complete, and within customer specifications.
Prepare tender documentation in compliance with client guidelines.
Review technical documents (drawings, specifications,) to ensure accurate proposals.
• Prioritize multiple tenders and ensure all deadlines are met.
Continuously improve estimating standards, templates, and processes.
Liaise with suppliers to ensure material specifications are met.
Review completed jobs against estimates to ensure future accuracy.
What You'll Need: Mechanical Trade Certificate or equivalent 2+ years of estimating experience or a strong background in machining or CNC Experience with CAD / CAM (Fusion 360 / OnShape) is beneficial Knowledge of mining industry standards (advantageous) Excellent communication skills , both written and verbal Proficiency in Microsoft Office A team-player attitude with a passion for delivering high-quality work What's On Offer: Genuine care for employees: A company that treats its people like family, investing in their long-term success.
