The Grinders Supply Chain Team is based in our Roastery in Fairfield, Victoria.
Supply Chain compromises an array of function under its banner and the reach extends from procurement of both green beans & finished products to customer deliveries.
About your new role… We have a wonderful opportunity to join our Grinders team in this role of Maintenance Technician which will be based at our Roastery in Fairfield, Victoria.
We are looking for a self-starter who can excel within our fun and friendly team, and also work autonomously.
You will be trade qualified and enjoy utilising your skills and experience to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of all equipment within the Grinders Fairfield roastery.
This role is critical in minimising downtime, supporting production, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
This role will operate from Tuesday to Saturday and you will receive shift allowance for the work carried out on Saturday.
The Maintenance & Equipment Technician will primarily be responsible for Maintenance Operations, unplanned breakdown support, operational support, risk management, and process control.
Let's talk about you!
• Demonstrated experience in equipment maintenance, ideally in a food production environment.
• Previous experience maintaining high speed manufacturing machinery • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment • Trade qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical).
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Prior experience and understanding of the following would be highly regarded: • Quality and Food Safety management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 22000) • Occupational Health and Safety Management System (ISO 45001) • Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) • LEAN Manufacturing Principles What's in it for you?
