Workshop Manager Kalgoorlie, Full Time, Trades & Services Please Quote Reference Number 95861 Experienced Workshop Manager seeking a new opportunity Build Ohlmec's capabilities and be a key driver in the expansion plans. Join the supportive team at Ohlmec Ohlmec is a trusted partner in mechanical engineering consulting, project management, and innovative solutions for the mining, quarry, and processing industries in Australia. Ohlmec is growing and we are looking for a Workshop Manager to lead and grow our Kalgoorlie Fabrication and Fixed plant Workshop in a permanent full-time capacity. This awesome role provides the successful applicant the opportunity to build Ohlmec's Kalgoorlie capabilities and be a key driver in the expansion plans. Duties: Manage all facets of the Fabrication workshop including productivity, health and safety and quality control Manage the day to day operations of the Kalgoorlie Fabrication and Fixed plant Workshop Compile quotes, estimates and equipment reports Report on Workshop performance and develop realistic Workshop KPI's Plan and schedule all workshop activities Compile weekly reports detailing workshop activities and schedule Manage workshop resources Ensure workshop employees are appropriately trained and qualified to complete their tasks Provide leadership and mentor Ohlmec supervisors Ensure the workshop equipment is maintained and meets Ohlmec's standards Manage the Kalgoorlie vehicle fleet Ensure that the quality of all work carried out conforms to Ohlmec's QA/QC standards as well as the clients specifications Develop Workshop procedures Site visits as required Other duties as requested from time to time by the Products Delivery Manager Our ideal candidate will have: Previous experience in running a Fabrication and Fixed plant Workshop Trade qualifications are preferred but not essential Formal Leadership or Management qualifications are desirable  Strong communication skills both written and verbal Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills Ability to manage multiple competing priorities Focus on quality and customer satisfaction This role offers a Monday to Friday schedule for those seeking daily returns home, as well as an option for FIFO on a 10/4 roster. We offer competitive compensation ranging from $200,000 to $220,000, along with a company-provided vehicle.
