Maintenance & Engineering Manager
for an underground hard rock mine. The role is responsible for all maintenance and engineering activities across surface & underground infrastructure, electrical, processing plants, and mobile equipment. There is also a need to establish maintenance planning systems, standards, and procedures as the mine is relatively new, with some infrastructure still to be constructed.Skill set required:
Trade or engineering-related qualifications in mechanical or electrical.Experience across fixed and mobile equipment - specifically underground and processing plants.Strong background in maintenance planning and setting up maintenance best practices and budgets.Leadership qualities with an eye to developing your future successor.Ideally, we are looking for someone who has worked at this level before; however, we will also seriously consider a very strong superintendent looking for the next step.Why apply:
