About the Role:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager within the Western Harbour Tunnel and Sydney Harbour Tunnel Asset Management Services contract, the Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the implementation of our Asset Management System including all correlating responsibilities. As the Maintenance Engineer, you will also be responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring, control activities and coordinating the delivery of Maintenance and Project works.
Key Responsibilities

Support the development, implementation, management, and continuous improvement of the Asset Management strategies and plans.
Review existing or develop new Technical Maintenance Plans (TMPs) for various asset types with reference to the Maintenance Requirements Analysis procedure, site, and contractual requirements.
Assist various teams with engineering solutions for repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect assets operations by applying data analysis techniques and RCA/RCFA targeting OEE improvements.
Preparing various reports and presentations including, but not limited to: Monthly Reports, maintenance performance and KPI dashboard reports, asset condition, performance data and tunnel closure analysis.
Extract, refine, analyse, and utilise maintenance and asset performance data to enable informed decisions to be made in relation to asset renewal/refurbishment, disposal, and planned maintenance programs.
Use the asset information management system (AIMS) to plan/schedule, generate, distribute work orders to work parties (internal and external).
Assist the work parties to properly and timely close out the work orders and raise follow up work orders.
Undertake asset data gathering, validation/integrity checks on the maintenance and asset data.
Perform asset condition assessment by undertaking site visits and desktop evaluation.
Auditing closed work orders from field staff to identify any gaps or improvements.
Formalising asset condition documents for subcontractors.
Conduct weekly lookahead meetings, including 3rd party works and identifying interface risks.
Closure planning and coordination, schedule and chair closure planning meetings, prepare materials for closure notifications and nightly coordination meetings.

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

Tertiary qualifications in engineering are a must.
Strong stakeholder management skills (internal and external).
Experience implementing an AIMS/CMMS.
Working knowledge of asset management principles (ISO 55000).
Proven experience in Asset Engineering.
Previous exposure to road maintenance or construction activities.
Proven ability to extract, refine, analyse, interpret and use Engineering data.
