We are now scaling operations, bringing products to global markets, and expanding our product development pipeline to meet the demand from some of the world's largest corporations.The Maintenance Engineer will report to the Principal, Engineering and is responsible for frontline maintenance support, execution of project deliverables including design, fit-out, commissioning and ongoing usage.
You will have the confidence to learn new technologies, execute initial production runs and maintain accurate and precise reports on time in a dynamic and changing environment.

Be transparent, honest, and open to criticism.Decisive: Make bold decisions.Accountable: Take on responsibility and be accountable.Fun: Work at a place where people love to work.RoleEquipment MaintenanceProvide 'hands-on' engineering support for all areas of the business.Create schedules & perform periodic, planned and breakdown maintenance on plant and facilities.Minimize downtime to production and facilities processes through timely maintenance.Develop testing processes, and perform testing and validation of existing equipment.Repair and TroubleshootingCollaborate with design engineers, subject matter experts, and technicians to evaluate designs for implementation and ongoing usage to solve large-scale production challenges.Resolve product non-conformances and collaborate with the quality and production teams to implement root cause corrective actions.Maintenance Planning and SchedulingCreate schedules & perform periodic, planned and breakdown maintenance on plant and facilities.Ensure project timelines are met and projects stay within budget.Documentation and ReportingCreate and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using CAD software.Perform detailed documentation to track project development and design processes.Safety and ComplianceTrain and mentor staff members.Develop testing processes, and perform testing and validation of existing equipment.Apply continuous improvement methodologies to drive efficiency improvements.Identify, plan, and execute capital equipment, machine, and layout upgrades to meet volume production demand.What would you bring to this role?Education:Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline with industry experience and/or Certificate 3 or equivalent in an Engineering discipline.Experience:5+ years of professional experience in engineering and facilities management, preferably in a GMP production environment.Demonstrated ability to independently and effectively manage projects in an extremely fast-paced and changing environment.Firm grasp of engineering concepts, and experience designing mechanical systems and products in a construction, mechanical, or manufacturing background.Well-developed understanding of GMP maintenance requirements.Excellent understanding of risk management and mitigation processes which has involved problem-solving ability.Exposure and conformance to Good Documentation Practices.Experience of use and compliance with an electronic CMMS to manage workflow.The ability to work at heights.Exceptional time management skills with the proven ability to meet deliverable deadlines in a fast-paced environment.The ability to use a range of hand and power tools as part of standard work.Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability.Communication skills that represent the brand.Nice to have:Welding skills (TIG) highly regarded.PLC programming exposure.Operate forklift and scissor lifts desirable.Experience using CAD packages such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD an advantage.LEAN Manufacturing exposure.You don't need to have done all these things before, but to excel in this role you will need to be keen to learn and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.What do we value as essential?A great team community with focus on you thriving whilst balancing your family or personal life.Opportunity to enjoy work, achieve success but in the right way.The opportunity to work in a company at the forefront of sustainable products for the future.A diverse and inclusive workplace, our workforce represents over 14 nationalities.Salary package commensurate with experience.Working from home.At Provectus, we're thinking of a 'Better Normal' by offering employees more choice and greater flexibility to work in a way that's best for their roles and teams.We're also aware there are times when working together in person is the best way to get things done.
