Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a full time basis.
About the Role As the Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for implementing the asset management plan onsite, ensuring optimum efficiency and eliminating unplanned breakdowns. You will be responsible for:
Asset management in line with the site management plan to optimise both efficiencies and maintenance costs. Perform both preventative and reactive maintenance to plant and equipment in a timely manner. Supervise contractors and trades to ensure maintenance work is carried out to a high level in the appropriate timeframes. Assist in the technical training programs for staff.Work to minimise downtime, quality issues, and safety issues. Assist in the management, reporting and tracking of department budgets.Collaborate with key stakeholders to address technical challenges and improve equipment reliability.Stay updated on industry best practice, emerging technologies and regulatory requirements relevant to your role. About you We are seeking an experienced Engineer, with the following skills, qualifications and experience:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years experience in Maintenance Engineering roles within a manufacturing environment. Experienced in stakeholder management and working in cross-functional teams.Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.Highly developed communication skills both written and verbal, along with strong presentation skills.
