Workfast are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrician to ensure the electrical maintenance and installation at our Wodonga facility.
About The Role
As an Industrial Maintenance Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the electrical maintenance and installations at our facility.
Wodonga LocationImmediate StartPermanent jobOngoing full time hours Great hourly rate - $52.87 per hour + penalties Must be okay working on a rotating roster (early morning, day and afternoon)One Saturday of the month will be required also
Key Responsibilities:
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in compliance with codes and regulations.Diagnose and troubleshoot automation and electrical issues.Interpret electrical schematics and technical specifications.Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs.Collaborate with team members and contractors to ensure timely completion of work.Respond to emergency repairs promptly and safely.Cooperate professionally with clients, team members, and management.
Key Skills and Experience:
Valid A Grade Electrical LicenceExperience with PLC, SCADA, Motors, Variable Speed Drives, and Industrial switchgearStrong mechanical understanding for fault finding.Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment.Perform preventative maintenance tasks via a CMMS programParticipate in the shift team roster and be available for overtime when requiredIndustrial refrigeration experience is an advantage
Additional Information:
Must hold and maintain a valid driver's license.Pre-employment medical assessment required due to the physical nature of the role.Flexibility to undertake duties as needed within the organization.
