What You Will Do
Perform maintenance, preventative and breakdown electrical tasks throughout our production, engineering and office areas of our Devonport facility
Ensure site plant and equipment is maintained per the maintenance schedule whilst maintaining safety and maximising production requirements
PLC, automation and electrically controlled systems fault finding, programming and connections
Work with robotics
Work in conjunction with other on-site trades (mechanical fitters + contractors) to ensure work orders are completed to a high standard
Participating in continual improvement processes
Apply operational standards and procedures
About You
Possess a 100% commitment to safety in the workplace
Hold a current Tasmanian Electrical licence (mandatory)
Demonstrated diagnostic, fault finding and trouble shooting skills
Experience with fixed plant electrical works
Experience in safety & quality systems and procedures
Ability to read and interpret schematics (advantageous)
Demonstrated maintenance experience within an FMCG industry plant (highly desirable but not essential)
Sound judgment and decision making ability
Possess a high level of both written and verbal communication skills in addition to time management skills
Intermediate user of Windows-based systems and software
Ability to work proactively whilst unsupervised whilst also being able to work within a team environment
