Our client, based at the southern gateway to the Great Barrier Reef, is looking for EWRB registered, experienced Industrial Electricians to join their large refinery.
Working with a team of safety focused electricians and engineers, you will be completing planned and breakdown maintenance on a wide range of Electrical and Instrumentation equipment (including high voltage repairs) ensuring that plant keeps operating at its impressive capacity.
Your day to day will include fault finding and repairs on various electrical equipment including pumps, transmitters, sensors, probes, circuit breakers, RTDs, positioners and washers.
You will provide feedback on equipment defects and asset performance, assisting with the planning of preventative maintenance schedules.
About you: Keen on working for a multinational company with extensive training and career progression in Australia!Hold a current EWRB License (you do not need to be a resident of NZ however you must be registered in New Zealand)Have demonstrated experience in fixed plant maintenance/process control, ideally in High Voltage environments.
Includes diagnostic fault finding on complex circuits, purge assembly and repair collaboration.Have proven experience in breakdown repair.Have had exposure to gas and PLC controlled systems (ideal but not essential)Have experience with instrumentation (ideally)Have sound understanding of electrical schematic drawingsBe comfortable at heights from time to timeYou have worked in industrial environments, e.g.
Quarries, FMCG plants, Refineries, Dairy or Chemical plants, Mills and Smelters.Have had experience working in environments where Health and Safety is paramount #J-18808-Ljbffr
