Maintenance Electrician

The OpportunityWe are currently seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join a leading plastics manufacturer based in Minto.
This is a contract position, offering an attractive hourly rate of $60 per hour plus Super and overtime opportunities.
If you're a skilled electrician with experience in manufacturing environments, this is an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise.The RoleAs a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of electrical systems and equipment within the plant.
You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical faults, and respond to breakdowns to minimize downtime in a fast-paced production environment.Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment.Diagnose and resolve equipment breakdowns to ensure minimal disruption.Carry out routine preventative maintenance tasks.Ensure all work is conducted safely and efficiently in compliance with industry standards.Work closely with the production team to maintain operational continuity.Key Requirements Trade qualified as an Electrician.Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably in plastics.Strong troubleshooting skills with knowledge of PLCs and automated systems.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Safety-conscious with attention to detail.What's On Offer Hourly Rate: $60 per hour plus Super.Overtime opportunities available.Full-time contract role.Work in a growing and dynamic manufacturing environment.If you're an experienced Maintenance Electrician ready for your next challenge, apply now!
