This role is for a client that is a well-known British Property Development & Investment Company, featured within the FTSE 250 Index and listed on the London Stock Exchange. This business was founded in London in 1959 and has an annual net income of over £160m with a property portfolio worth over £1 billion. Their ethos is to invest in and strive for a more economical and sustainable living space in the UK.The company you will be working for is a highly recognized facilities management and real estate business operating globally with a team of around 8,000 members of staff. It is estimated this business is now worth approximately $1.3 billion as of 2023.Within this role, you will join a team of engineers delivering multi-disciplined planned and reactive maintenance works, providing the highest level of customer service to the on-site client. You will be expected to work well within your team and assist where needed outside of your usual working trade.Key Responsibilities for a Maintenance Electrician:Conduct routine maintenance on emergency lighting systems.Perform water temperature checks to ensure compliance with safety standards.Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs).Monitor and maintain the Building Management System (BMS) for optimal performance.Undertake light plumbing tasks as needed.Experience required for a Maintenance Electrician:Proven experience as a maintenance electrician, ideally within a commercial or industrial environment.Strong knowledge of emergency lighting systems, BMS Systems, and general maintenance tasks.
