Full-time permanent position for a maintenance coordinatorLocated in Lidcombe with on-site parking availableMonday-Friday 7AM-4PMAbout our role: Located at our Lidcombe manufacturing site we are looking for a Maintenance Coordinator to assist with the site's day-to-day management of mechanical maintenance resources, including plant and equipment repairs, maintenance, and installations.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, your working hours will be Monday-Friday 07:00-16:00.
Responsibilities include: Direct responsibility for supervision of all Lactalis trades employees and contractors, including rostering, timesheets, performance management, and training.Ensure completion of planned and unplanned works to ensure reliable operation of all areas of the factory, minimizing plant downtime.Provide technical support and oversight of day-to-day maintenance operations to ensure timely and accurate maintenance response.Ensure maintenance activities are carried out within the allocated budget.Maintain an adequate stock of mechanical spares to meet reasonable requirements.Provide after-hours support to the site as required to ensure continued operation (on a roster basis).About you: Trade Qualification as Mechanical Fitter or Industrial Electrician; exposure to automation highly desirable.Extensive experience in engineering maintenance, preferably in the Dairy or FMCG industry.Ability to identify mechanical and electrical issues and proactively resolve them.Proficient with SAP, Microsoft Office, and safety systems.Our story: Ours is a STORY of a family business created by the Besnier Family in 1933 and is today the world's No.
