We are excited to offer the role of a Maintenance Coordinator.
This role will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities, consumables and stock inventory and providing administrative support to the maintenance team and group of technicians.
The Maintenance Coordinator will organise, implement and update all maintenance systems and all related procedures.

Ensure all incidents, near misses and hazards are reported as per Blackmores reporting processes.
Investigate and complete associated actions related to incidents and hazards Ensure adherence to all safety process, policies and procedures.
Conduct risk assessments on changes being managed.
Investigate and document quality related deviations and incidents as per Blackmores procedures when directed.
Ensure that all quality policies, processes and procedures are always followed.
Ensure training is always current and compliant Manage all projects, initiatives, trials in compliance with GMP and Blackmores policies and procedures.
Provide technical expertise for equipment and processes.
Review of line losses and implementing appropriate actions/projects to reduce downtime.
Review line reliability and recommend changes to design and/or maintenance program.
Assist in the maintenance of drawings, schedules, catalogues and details of equipment, machinery and installations.
Manage mainpac work order requests, templates and preventative maintenance.
Assign tasks to engineering team, coordinate and ensure completion of work in a timely manner.
Assist engineering team by executing and creating GEP test protocols.
Assist maintenance fitters to run packing lines efficiently, providing guidance, training and support.
Communicate directly with suppliers, sub-contractors, vendors and service providers to schedule repairs, servicing, preventative maintenance and other engineering projects required to keep production assets running smoothly.
Manage all projects within capital budgets where applicable.
Manage all purchasing and invoices within corporate guidelines Work closely with engineering manager to plan and execute maintenance budget.
Provide business cases to support capital investment Ordering and monitor consumables, parts and consumable stocks usage as required.
Conduct cycle counts of all consumables, parts and stock inventory for maintenance and production.
Generate and provide reports of parts and stocks adjustments.
Aid in the development and implementation of a Lean culture in the Packing operation.
Assist with Lean initiatives in line with overall business strategy as directed.
Collaborate across the business to unlock value and efficiency in packing.
Who are you?
Possess a degree in Engineering or another relevant technical field Experienced working in a highly regulated environment and dealing with a maintenance management system – Mainpac, Mex or similar system.
Experienced working with a ERP system – JDE, SAP or something similar.
Experience in continuous improvement methodology as applied to a production environment.
Experience with TIG welding and possess machining skills.
