The Opportunity Due to growth and a strong pipeline of work on the horizon, we have a great opportunity for a qualified Carpenter to join our Maintenance team. You will be involved in programmed and preventative facilities maintenance at one of our sites in the CBD. You will be responsible for the delivery of allocated projects to a high standard within budget and program schedule within one of our valued customers' buildings.
What we're looking for Carpentry and general trades experience (maintenance, tiling, plastering etc.) in domestic and commercial environments;Strong communication skills;The ability to work with other trades and work autonomously;Robust time management skills and attention to detail;Ability to liaise with building facilities manager daily;Ability to understand and undertake building audits;Ability to quote small project works;Easy going, adaptable and respectable;Strong client focus;Sound understanding of OHS systems and regulations and is committed to exceeding OHS standards;Valid Driver's License, White Card (Construction Induction), Working with Children's Check and Police Check.What's on offer for you Full-time Permanent positionCompetitive hourly rate with annual reviewsFully equipped company car with fuel card and eTag (optional)One RDO per monthMobile phone allowance and Harris HMC uniform also providedOngoing training and development – genuine career growth opportunitiesHow to apply Harris HMC is an equal opportunity employer and embraces diversity.
